Lower Taxes and Smaller Government

Washington has a spending problem.  Taxes are too high; spending is out of control; government is too large.  High taxes hurt families.  Federal borrowing and spending bankrupts our children’s futures. And the runaway federal bureaucracy invades our businesses, our homes and our churches with unconstitutional rules, regulations and mandates.

As your Congressman, I will fight to lower marginal tax rates across the board and reduce the total federal tax burden on families.

As your Congressman, I will fight to reduce the size and scope of the federal government, using Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution as my guide.

There is a direct correlation between National prosperity and limited government.  As government gets larger and more intrusive, individual liberty, quality of life and our standard of One Percentliving decreases.  The federal budget must decrease because the country's economic future and national prosperity are hanging in the balance.

When there is a budget surplus, Larry will favor cutting tax rates.  It is better for people to simply keep their money instead of sending it Washington and then having a portion of it returned.

Cut Spending and Balance the Federal Budget
Larry supports a "One Percent Spending Reduction Act." Cutting one percent every year for 6 years creates a balanced budget.

Anti-Obamacare Leadership
My leadership on anti-Obamacare legislation demonstrates my continuing commitment to keep the federal government within its constitutionally enumerated boundaries.

Fundamental Tax Reform
Larry supports ending corporate welfare and special interest tax loopholes, broadening the tax base and lowering taxes.

Not only has he talked the talk, but he has walked the walk when it comes to matters related to fiscal policy, liberty and fiscal conservatism.
